POKER FLATS PROPERTY - CARLIN TREND

 

  • December  2010 acquires Poker Flats property consisting of 500 acres
  • In the 4th quarter of 2011 acquires private land to bring up the total acreage to 3,600 acres
  • Newmont Mining's Emigrant Springs property 1km away
  • Newmont Mining's is expecting a new mining operation to be started up soon at Emigrant Springs
  • Exploration goal is for a open pittable, heap leachable Carlin type ore bodies at shallow depths
  • Potential to host a multi-million ounce Carlin-style bulk mineable gold deposit
  • Exploration budget of $1,200,000 in 2012 and $2,400,000 in 2013.

 

ZIGGURAT PROPERTY - NORTHUMBERLAND TREND

 

  • December 2010 acquires Ziggurat property consisting of 6,800 acres
  • 20 km north of Kinross-Barrick's giant +15 million ounce Round Mountain open pit, heap leach gold mine
  • 5 Km south of Fronteer Gold's +3 million ounce Northumberland Mine gold property
  • Potential to host a multi-million ounce Carlin-style bulk mineable gold deposit
  • Exploration budget of $1,000,000 in 2012 and $2,900,000 in 2013

 

Gold Jackpot:

  • March 2011 acquires an option for the Gold Jackpot property from Mexivada Mining consisting of 2,480 acres
  • Target area is 6 kms long
  • Exploration will focus on near surface high grade gold, silver and tellurium and copper, gold at depth
  • Gold values to 16 g/ton Au and tellurium values to 3,740 g/ ton Te have been found at surface
  • Some of the highest grade tellurium exploration samples found in the USA to date (to 3470 g/t Te) were sampled in our main target area
  • Tellurium, an extremely rare  High-Tech Photovoltaic metal used in First Solar's "green" solar panels
  • The highest grade samples collected  assayed 5.209 g/ton Gold, 339 g/ton Tellurium, 239 g/ton Silver, 2% lead, 1046 ppm Copper, and anomalous indium (a high tech metal used in LCD chips)
  • The Gold Jackpot mineralization could represent the top of a diatreme/breccia pipe in the nearer-surface portion of a Porphyry - Epithermal transition/mixing zone above a metallized porphyry gold-copper system, such metal systems, like at the Emperor Mine in Fiji, can yield gold resources in excess of 10,000,000 ounces in size
  • Exploration budget of $5,000,000 over 6 years

 

 

RED LAKE, ONTARIO - DOME PROJECT

 

  • November 2009 acquires Dome property
  • December 2010 acquires McManus property adjoining the Dome property
  • The property is approximately 1.5 kms from Goldcorp's High Grade Zone (HGZ) area
  • Goldcorp on November 9, 2010 announced drilling results from the High Grade Zone of 34.7 meters of 136.3 g/t gold and 1.7 meters of 1,826.3 g/t gold.
  • Goldcorp's High Grade Zone is trending in a southwestern direction which could potentially trend onto the newly expanded Dome property.

  • Historic drill hole in 1936 intersected 33g or 1oz per ton gold over 2 feet
  • Exploration budget of $2.2 million over 3 years

Alcourt Property:

  • March 2011 acquires Alcourt property consisting of 250 acres
  • 3 gold veins discovered in 1980 by Sherritt Gordon
  • Panel sample returned grades that ranged from 0.0105 to 1.649 ounces gold per tonne
  • A reported 3000 metre 48 diamond drill holes completed on the property in 1980
  • In 1981, a non- NI 43-101 compliant property evaluation report was written by James Tilsley and Associates
  • The report suggested a potential resource of 20,000 tonnes grading 0.45 ounces gold per tonne
  • Exploration budget of $500,000 over 3 years
